I would say this is the best and safe auto curler I have ever used. The different heat settings for different kind of hairs is really useful. You can set the timer with a button as per the type of curl you want. Also, What makes TULIP Auto curler different from others is the head design, the hot curling rod is safely surrounded by a ring like structure and hence no danger of burn to head. Another unique feature about TULIP Auto curler is that you can take small portions of hair inside the rotating head, leave them and push and release the switch. The hairs will wind up automatically giving the desired results. i have used the lowest heat settings as I have fine hairs and it curled very well. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars]

We used this on hard to curl Asian hair. The Tulip Auto Curler got hot enough to curl her hair and the curls really lasted. Her hair was long so the curls were mostly mid length to bottom. It does take a bit of time because you can only do a small amount of hair at a time and you really need someone else doing it for you in the back. One other thing is that her hair got tangled in the curler twice - the second time we needed to cut some to get it out. Once we really got the hang of it though the curls turned out nice and we will use it again and again. The reason we gave it only 3 stars is because of the fact that it really requires 2 people, the time and the hair getting caught in it. Rating: [3 of 5 Stars]
